Rong holds a Master’s degree in Clinical Audiology from Macquarie University. She enjoys working as an audiologist and is passionate about research work.

She started her PhD in 2019 at the medical school of the University of Western Australia. Her PhD research interests focus on the impact of hearing impairment on psychological health and frailty in later life.
