Fiona is a research assistant working with Dr Elaine Wong in the stem cell research team.
She has rejoined the Usher syndrome human disease model development project, which is working to understand the disease mechanisms and develop novel treatments for the leading causes of deafblindness. Part of this project was the subject of Fiona’s honours in Biomedical science.
