Lions Hearing Clinics

We understand that the process of adjusting to new hearing aids can take time. To assist in this process, Lions Hearing Clinic offers a 30 day money back guarantee.

All hearing aid purchases require payment in full at the initial fitting appointment.

A 4 week money back guarantee will be offered to all clients, from the date of the initial fitting appointment. A two week extension can be granted only for instrument malfunctions or for illness and must be approved by the Audiology Manager.

If you wish to return the hearing aids, you must do so within the 30 day period. You will be refunded the amount paid for the devices within 7 working days, either directly into your bank account or by cheque.

Should you choose to return a custom device, $90 will be retained by Lions Hearing Clinic and will be deducted from the cost of the device.

After purchasing the hearing aid/s are retained there will be no charge for further follow up appointments within a six month period from the date of the initial fitting (initial payment). These appointments must be related to the functioning of the hearing aid. Any further hearing assessments, advice on other matters or participation in ‘Tuning in’ will be charged as standard. Six months from the date of receipt, all appointments will be charged at standard rates.

Once the hearing aid/s are in your possession, you will be responsible for any costs in replacing lost or damaged hearing aids. Warranties on hearing aid/s do NOT cover loss or damage. We highly recommend that you include your new hearing aid/s on your home and content insurance and as an individual item on your travel insurance if you plan to take them travelling. It is your responsibility to INSURE the hearing aid/s as soon as they are in your care.

If a hearing aid is damaged whilst under your care, you will be responsible for the full cost of the repair to the device/s.
