I was very satisfied with my earwax removal at the clinic the other day. What immediately impressed me was the instant ability for me to see the camera inside my ear that clearly showed the earwax in the canals, and the ear drums.The process was different from a previous one I've had but it was clearly explained and - what seemed to be low-probability - risks were covered. I had no ill effects! I was also impressed that I was given complete answers to all my searching questions about hearing aids and treated as intelligent! On the basis of my experience of Lions Hearing Clinic, I will be going back for advice and would definitely recommend them.

I found Tania to be extremely patient and attentive when my mum presented for her appointment. The staff are incredible in general how I would like to give specific praise to Tara. I was unfortunate enough to have an immediate and significant hearing loss in my right inner ear due to head trauma. As a musician and a person of a relatively young age bracket, I was understandably affected by this mentally. Tara's ability to kindly and gently introduce me into my unavoidably new way of living was not only crucial but it was comforting. My appreciation towards Tara is massive and I will be forever grateful. Her vast and in depth knowledge is impossible to miss and it's clear that she is top tier in her field of expertise. Tara is also very thorough throughout the entire process, making sure that nothing is missed and all boxes are ticked in order to provide the patient with the best possible treatment and satisfaction. If Tara isn't already known to be an elite specialist in her field then she definitely deserves a shout out. A thorough examination, comprehensive explanation of the results, all possible solutions offered but then narrowed down to the most suitable for my particular hearing loss and lifestyle. Discussion of a large range of hearing aids, final choice made after considering cost, whether or not I needed or would use the newest technology, which phone I wanted to use, and whether I would prefer to wait a month for the most suitable but not currently available model.I felt all options had been covered and I had been helped to select the best solution for myself at this point in time.

First, may I say Sheng is a thorough gentleman, courteous, and extremely knowledgeable in every facet of his profession.
Today was the first time in twelve years of me wearing hearing aides that an audiologist explained to me in detail what my problem was and the best way forward for me. This place is wonderful. I travelled all the way from the Central Coast on recommendation from Value Hearing who are no longer in business & Shen Yao Foo is just a really decent guy who runs an honest business.

Many places will try and upsell you whatever they can, however Shen Yao Foo tried hard to get my old hearing aids working & even actively recommended me not changing aids unless I needed to. I do still believe I'll upgrade soon as I have bad tinnitus & need the latest masking features, however Shen Yao Foo has me as a client for as long as he's in business (Which I hope is a very long time) as it's wonderful to deal with people with such ethics in this industry.

I returned to Lions for my annual maintenance which coincided with substantial hearing loss after recovering from Covid two weeks prior. I had been to my GP the day before who did an ear syringe for wax removal.
Lauren use an instrument and confirmed that I had fluid in both my inner ears. I was still struggling with post Covid effects and found her knowledge and caring attitude to be extremely comforting.
Lauren downloaded the latest aid update and readjusted my aids to help with this current condition. She offered to do later adjustments when my hearing condition improves.

I have been a very happy client for the past 3 years. My Phonak hearing aids together with my Phonak ComPilot & TV Link have really made a difference to my hearing and enjoyment of life. My hearing Aids are Blue-toothed to my Mobile Phone during the day and then, when I want, to the TV at night.
I can hear my wife! - even when she starts talking from the other end of the apartment - not that I can fully understand what she is saying but I know that she is saying something! I am no longer accused of 'selective hearing' !!!
I signed up to the After Care Package and I haven't looked back. Value Hearing have done everything they promised. A very professional service (especially compared to my experiences over the previous 5 years).

I started my "hearing-in-colour" journey (great term, Andrew!) in May 2023. Over the next few months, I visited several audiologists and trialed an average of two types of hearing aids at each, all of which were disappointing in one or more ways.

By the time I met Andrew Peou at Lions Hearing / Ear Sciences Mt Lawley in Jan 2024, I was fed up with the whole process and had little confidence that I would find exactly what I needed. And I was certainly not in a mood to drop thousands of dollars on hearing aids I didn't love.

Andrew was the first audiologist to actually listen (ironic, right?) to me and query me in detail about my needs. The first aids he suggested were much closer to the mark than any I'd previously tried, but still not quite there. Andrew kept listening and suggested another type, confident that this pair would tick all of the boxes.

How right he was.

After trialing so many different types, this was the first pair I was still wearing at the end of the trial.

I've had my own for almost two weeks now and they are still finding new and pleasant ways to surprise me - I love what they are doing for me, even though Andrew and I still have a few tweaks to make.

The best part? I'm no longer dreading this journey.

Today, I went to Midland Hearing Clinic. I was seen by Rida, who confirmed for me the High quality service I always get whenever I have an appointment. Rida took time to explain to me the best way to care for my ears. She showed me the graph and explained the limitations to my hearing which I really appreciated.
The even better news is when I got home I could finally tune my instruments by ear again, something I haven't been able to do for a long time.
A big THANK YOU, what difference this has made, I can finally start jamming with my friends again.

I was referred by my General Practitioner to this clinic and I found their service really quite excellent. I very much appreciated the time and effort Sheng Foo, the audiologist, took to make things clear, to explain what could and could not be done in realistic but sympathetic terms. His micro-suction clearance of my ears meant that I was able to get a first class assessment without having to post-pone appointments because of inadequate clearance due to residual wax. Katie the receptionist was so helpful and clear when she spoke with well enunciated words so I could know when appointments were occurring. My hearing is a rate limiting step as to whether I can work or not. It is also a rate limiting step to feeling included in conversations in social settings.The result has meant I have had significant benefits on both fronts. I am very appreciative for their professionalism and respectful care.

My wife and I visited Value Hearing Perth recently for our annual hearing review. We have both been wearing hearing aids for many years but have only been with Value Hearing for the past three years. The difference between the level of service we now receive at Value Hearing compared to our two previous hearing aid providers and audiologists has made us realise how lucky we are to now have our hearing cared for by Value Hearing.

Over the past three years our regular audiologist, Raza, has consistently demonstrated the highest level of professionalism. First, finding the hearing aids that were right for us and now, for ensuing that our hearing aids are working efficiently and continuing to meet our expectations. Raza has always been very professional and thorough. At our recent review he took the time to check our hearing and then, to ensure that our hearing aids were adjusted to reflect recent hearing loss. Although this was relatively minor, we both noticed the immediate improvements to our hearing.

After our review was completed, we mentioned that we had both been having great difficulty with the new Oticon Companion app on our mobile phones. Although we both have very different model phones, we were experiencing the same problems – hearing aids disconnecting from the app countless times each day and then not pairing again irrespective of what we tried. The only solution was to switch off and then restart our phone. Obviously this was not a practical solution countless times each day so we simply stopped using the app which denied us access to a number of hearing aid functions.

Raza took considerable time and showed great patience resolving our problems – first upgrading the firmware on our hearing aids and then updating the Oticon Companion apps on our phones to take advantage of the firmware upgrades. Not only did this resolve our problems but also addressed an issue that had been causing us both considerable anxiety. Thank you Raza and thank you Value Hearing. We cannot commend your service highly enough

Initially I struggled with Phonak. But with patient adjustments made I am happy with the aids. As for pricing VH gave a quote which was approx $3000 cheaper than anyone else. I used the savings to purchase accessories for the aids. I will recommend VH to anyone with hearing loss without hesitation for professionalism and pricing.

I recently began my search for hearing aids. It became quite overwhelming and confusing, with vastly different prices for the same product, different services etc. I was a few weeks into my search when I came across Value Hearing. Firstly, the website and the youtube videos were very informative, giving me the knowledge I needed to make a informed decision. The whole online platform is amazing, I felt comfortable knowing so much more.
Then secondly, I received quotes after I requested them, and this is when I found a transparent, incredibly detailed and helpful customer service provided by Lezanne. I corresponded via email with Lezanne and she followed up each time very swiftly.
I can’t recommend her enough and I think Value hearing is lucky to have her.
Then I met Kate for my first hearing aid fitting. I had already had a recent audiogram and a lengthy phone call with Kate. Again I
found her service to be 2nd to none. Kate spent 2 hours explaining and ensuring I was comfortable with the fitting of the hearing aids before I left. The next day she followed up with a phone call. Kate will follow up with me again when I return from an overseas trip.

I had problems with my Phonak Aids. On the way to Midland office at 12 50, on the off chance they could advise me. Michelle was very helpful and after trying to fix the problem organized a 1.30pm appt. Explained to Lauren what the problem was. She tested the aids, one was defective. Given the need for my aids, Lauren loaned me a unit and will send the defective one to be serviced.
I have been very impressed with the quality service provided by Lion's Hearing and today was no exception. Both staff members were patient and courteous which was very much appreciated.

I was at first very wary, however the service from the initial enquiry, to the call centre following up on queries was all most professional. They were happy to deal with me via email and text, which for my level of hearing is more appropriate than phone calls.

Experience first class service where the team goes above and beyond. I have marginal hearing loss at higher frequencies that causes me to miss essential context in conversations, so a little unsure if I needed hearing aids, I approached the clinic that was referred to me by my sister.
Andrew Peou is the consultant assigned to me who is very knowledgable, extremely patient and professional. Through thorough testing he explained the frequency region of loss showing me the data. Although the loss was minor, I trialled hearing aids at no cost and absolutely no pressure and settled on a product that suited my budget. It was important to me that they were discreet as I was self concious about being judged by others, silly in hindsight, but nonetheless they are not obvious to people. My bald headed Barber told me to get over it, and showed me his hearing aid that he wears, of which I have never noticed in the ten years going to him.
I have been using them for 6 weeks and must say that even though my hearing loss was minor, the benefits have been life changing by helping me being more involved in conversations and the convenience of using them for phone calls, streaming audio books and music. I was quite emotional when we tested them on my favourite song hearing detail that I didn't realise existing in the music. These are amazing, just like the staff at Lions Hearing Clinic in Mount Lawley. If you are wondering if you need hearing aids don't keep putting it off like I did, make an appointment and ask for your hearing to be checked, and if you do I hope you experience the wonder I have.

Clinics for a hearing assessment. During these consultations, I asked about discreet hearing aides, that would accommodate my current hair style.

A bit of a long story but here goes..

So my Aunty tragically lost her son and after realising that she would not be able to hear her son's funeral properly for the next day, we got in contact with the Lions hearing clinic asking them for help.
I spoke to a wonderful woman named Shannon and after telling her the situation, she immediately told me she would call me back and in the meantime speak to her manager to see how they can help. Sure enough, within the space of just an hour she had set up an appointment, emailed all the info we needed and got my Aunty in that same day for an assessment and a loan of great quality hearing aids!

Until a few months ago I was a happy customer of Valuehearing for many years. I decided to check out a cochlear implant and they needed an audiogram from me to evaluate my situation. I contacted my local audiologist at Valuehearing via email who should be able to pull this off the computer from my records. But I didn’t get a response. I contacted Christo as well about the audiogram and asked for an opinion about a cochlear implant. But no response either. Therefore, I went to another company and they did a thorough audiogram right away for a fee of $200. I am quite disappointed about the treatment at Valuehearing and decided to go to a different company when I need a new hearing aid.
Update:
The above shouldn't have happened but sometimes emails drift down in the inbox and get forgotten.
Value Hearing has apologised and offered to reimburse me for the $200.

From 2015 to 2017 I saw 3 different audiologists at 3 different practices to get Hearing Aids. None of these very experienced audiologists were able to select and program top of the range HAs that satisfied me. I hated the HAs and couldn’t wait to take them out after each use outside my home. No amount of fiddling could get me HAs that I wanted to use or keep in my ears.

In November 2018 I made an appointment to see Thilini at Value Hearing at their Pitt Street Sydney clinic. Thilini is far and away the best audiologist that I have seen. She is such a lovely caring person and explained each process clearly and with full information. I walked out the clinic and was happy with HAs for the first time. I now wear them 15 hours a day. I can hear my wife clearly even with the TV playing. I also can hear friends in noisy restaurants without difficulty; again a first for many years.

Value Hearing also have a very impressive 3 year maintenance and follow-up program to ensure that the HAs are operating correctly and they were less expensive than any of the same I could find online.

After purchasing hearing aids for many years from various suppliers, and not having much success, I searched on line and came across Value Hearing, they looked promising, I made an appointment for a hearing test and was amazed at the lengths the audiologist went to when doing the test. One of the problems I had was deciphering the language on American T.V. television shows. I couldn't believe what came next. What shows do you watch? Next thing I was listening to an American show through the test hearing aids while adjustments were made. Presto, I could finally hear clearly. There were many other requests by me and all were taken care of professionally. Since purchasing my hearing aids from Value Hearing, I have recommended them to three of my friends, they have all purchased on the spot because they were so happy with the service. They all had other quotes but Value Hearing were most cost effective for the same product.
I will continue recommending them while they give this five star service.

I had given up on hearing aids. Paid big money for something that didn't work. Lost a hearing aid whilst on tour and decided not to replace it. One hearing aid $5200. None of them helped with my touring business. Wind, leaves, sea stopped me from using hearing aids. The very thing I need assistance with. My wife researched and found Value Hearing several months ago. We made an appointment and I walked along Elizabeth St in peak hour holding a conversation despite passing buses, trucks and squealing brakes. That was impossible only a few months ago. Have been using TWO hearing aids which cost less than the singles I purchased in the past. They identified long term hearing loss going back to my childhood with a totally different approach. Our objective was to teach my brain to identify sound again. We are so pleased we will be taking my 92 year old mother in law for her ears testing and fitting if possible before Christmas..
