Exciting New Research to Improve Hearing Outcomes for Children with Conductive Hearing Loss

We are delighted to share that Adj Professor Rob Eikelboom and Adj Associate Professor David Sly have secured funding from Telethon Trust to address the need for alternative hearing devices for children with conductive hearing loss. This pioneering research will explore new solutions to improve hearing outcomes for children affected by this condition.

Joining Adj Professor Eikelboom and Adj Associate Professor Sly as co-investigators on this project are:

  • Dr. Anton Hinton-Bayre, ENT at Ear Science
  • Lucy Mitchell, Audiologist at Ear Science
  • Dr. Susannah Soon, Curtin University

This collaborative effort represents a significant step forward in advancing hearing solutions and making a real difference in the lives of children with hearing challenges.

We look forward to sharing the results of this research and the positive impact it will have on children’s hearing health.
