The Healthy Hearing Outback Program joined the Puntukurnu Aboriginal Medical Service (PAMS) for NAIDOC celebrations on July 9th in Newman. The theme for NAIDOC this year is “Keep the fire burning! Blak, loud and proud.”
Ear Health Coordinator Lucy Mitchell and Audiologist Selina Moyle promoted healthy ears and good hearing through games and giveaways at their Kunyjunyu Kurlka tent. The event also featured a BBQ, DJ, face painting, hair braiding, a craft table, and health activities, with local families attending. The event highlighted the strong partnership between the Healthy Hearing Outback team and PAMS.
