Just three days to go until the 2022 Gift of Hearing Swim Team hits the surf for the South32 Rottnest Channel Swim
This year we introduce a new generation of swimmers to join the legacy of the Gift of Hearing Swim Team. Following in their parent’s footsteps, Megan Birch and Shaun Same will be making their debut in support of finding a cure for hearing loss. They will join team veterans Brad Same and David Tuckey as they take on yet another swim in support of Ear Science’s mission to enhance the lives of those living with ear and hearing disorders and to raise funds for the Gift of Hearing Appeal.
Thanks to the support of our generous donors, they were the number one fundraising team in 2021, raising over $26,000. This year, we are setting ourselves the ambitious goal of beating this record-breaking total!
Funds raised will allow Ear Science Institute Australia to continue our work in developing life-changing treatments, community initiatives and ground-breaking research, bringing new treatments for hearing loss and edging us closer to discovering a cure.
Take the plunge, and support our committed team of swimmers to help us to continue giving, the Gift of Hearing.
