Senior research fellow Dr Elaine Wong recently presented her work on Usher Syndrome at the 5th Chinese Hearing Research Conference in Beijing.
The conference brought together hundreds of internationally-renowned scholars, auditory neuroscientists, otologists and graduate students as it aims to “promote the development of research and strengthen the international communication and cooperation in the field of auditory neuroscience.”
Dr Wong met with a number of prominent professors and ENT surgeons over the course of the two-day conference. Events such as this are valuable as it allows our researchers to establish new relationships that often lead to key collaborations across the globe.
